For the first 31 years she was a lay leader. Three years ago she received her minister's license and was hired as the part-time Deaf Ministry pastor at CVC. She has followed the Lord's lead to take the next step in ministry and was recently ordained as a minister with the Assemblies of God.<br><br>Laurie has been married to her husband Mark for almost 32 years. They have two adult children that are both married and are first-time grandparents to an energetic two-year-old boy.<br><br>Laurie has a heart for God, her family and the Deaf community.
