Dear Family and Friends,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join me in praising God\u2014for making what was unavailable, available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When God first called me to join this YWAM secondary school, nothing was in place. There were no interpreters. No co-navigators. No video relay interpreters. From a human perspective, it didn\u2019t make sense. I couldn\u2019t see how it would work\u2014but I knew God had spoken. So I said yes, trusting He would take care of what I couldn\u2019t yet see. I wasn\u2019t the only one\u2014Araya, the founder of Sonshine Interpreting, also sensed God\u2019s leading and said yes to join me in His plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And He did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One by one, He unfolded every detail in His perfect timing. He brought the right people\u2014those with willing hearts\u2014to serve, interpret, and walk with me. What once felt impossible became a testimony of what only God<\/em> could do. He provided 14 in-person interpreters, 11 video relay interpreters, and 3 co-navigators\u2014for a full 9-week school!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what touched me most was what happened beyond logistics. Before I arrived, YWAM Northern California had never hosted a Deaf student. But when I entered, something shifted. God opened eyes and softened hearts. Staff and students began to see that Deaf people are deeply valued by God\u2014able to worship Him fully, lead, teach, and carry His presence. Accessibility was no longer just about meeting a need; it became a bridge to recognize the beauty and calling within the Deaf community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, for the first time, Deaf youth and CODA youth will be included in the 3-week program\u2014like a mini Discipleship Training School\u2014this coming July 2025, something that has never happened before at this base. I\u2019ll be supporting the Bonfire team as they continue learning and growing in how to create a safe and welcoming environment for Deaf participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God truly called me to pave the way. And hearing how others now carry this vision forward is the greatest confirmation: it was worth it.<\/em> And you were a part of making that possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season has marked me deeply\u2014not because everything was easy, but because God was near. He is Provider, Sustainer, Faithful Father, and Compassionate Friend. Through your prayers, your support, and your encouragement, I\u2019ve seen more of His heart than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
