Deaf events, English Camp, Perdan Family news and more! Here are some of the amazing things God has done so far in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deaf Events at TICA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July, we had our first ever sign\u00a0language exchange event at the church. We had a great turnout. People from our local sign\u00a0language club, university students, and other Deaf friends attended. For many of them, this was their first time ever in a church. We\u00a0also had another opportunity to join an English class at the local University for the Deaf where we met with over 40 students.\u00a0Pray with us that through these relationships, we will be able to share the Gospel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

English Camp<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\u00a0August we had our annual \u201cEnglish Camp\u201d outreach. Many Japanese families are interested in exposing their children to English education during their summer break. We teach English through the Bible in a week-long VBS event. We want to send a big THANK YOU to the team from North Fairfield Assembly of God who helped us with both our Deaf outreach events and our English Camp this year. This year was our highest attendance; over 70 kids came for at least one day of camp, and 50+ were from families that do not attend church. We had several families come to church the following Sunday for the very first time.\u00a0Pray with us that they would return and feel God\u2019s presence and love at TICA.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perdan Family News<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

God has expanded our church planting team by calling more missionaries… and growing our family!\u00a0Join with us in prayer as we welcome the next team member (baby Perdan) arriving in February, 2026. We are so excited for this next journey as we become new parents, but there\u2019s a lot of emotions that come with that as well, especially because we\u2019re doing it in another country and navigating through the Japanese healthcare system.\u00a0Please pray for a safe delivery and that God would give us wisdom and guidance as we prepare for our baby\u2019s arrival.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
