Cynthia, while we will sit at different tables tomorrow, I thought we could still share in a Thanksgiving tradition.<\/strong>\u00a0What tradition?\u00a0The one where every person at the table says what they are thankful for.\u00a0<\/strong>I’ll start and then you go next! Here is mine:\u00a0<\/strong>Has making an eye appointment ever brought you to tears? Yeah, me either… until yesterday. The lady on the phone asked me if there had been any changes in my health since my last eye exam. I gave her a brief overview of my fall down 19 stairs, and the traumatic brain injury that I suffered as a result.\u00a0Her response took me by surprise,\u00a0“you fell down 19 stairs and you are alive to tell about it, that is amazing. I’m glad you are still here.”\u00a0<\/strong>I must admit, I started silently crying. I’m thankful to be alive!\u00a0I AM THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE!!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A short fifteen months ago, I was learning again how to spell my name, practicing drawing circles, and afraid that my life would never be the same.\u00a0Today, I am continuing LIFE!! I can spell my name, draw more than circles, and able to itinerate for my next term as an AGWM missionary!!<\/strong>
