Spring 2026 Newsletter<\/mark>
Here are some of the amazing things God has done so far this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 5, we celebrated Jesus\u2019s resurrection at TICA! We spent the week before
preparing 300 bagged lunches, dying hundreds of hard-boiled eggs, and filling nearly 1000 Easter eggs. Over 220 people attended our Sunday morning service, including several first time guests and families. The week after Easter, David and I had to go to city hall to fill out some paperwork for our son, and one of the clerks recognized us. She had visited TICA for the first time on Easter and said she loved it and wanted to come back. Please continue to pray for those we connected with on Easter, and that those relationships would lead to them following Jesus!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer Initiatives at TICA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God is moving in incredible ways in Japan, and one of those ways is mobilizing the local church in prayer. This year, we\u2019ve had more and more congregant members ask for opportunities for us to come together in corporate prayer. The photo above is from our first Connect Prayer Night at TICA. We had several people join in person, as well as online through zoom. It may not seem like a lot, but it marks an important way God is moving on the hearts of the people of Tsukuba. We prayed for our families, ministries at TICA, and for God to move in power in Japan. Since we\u2019ve started these prayer times, we\u2019ve seen an increase in questions about becoming a Christian, people coming back to church after months or years of being away, as well as baptisms in the Holy Spirit! This week, we are meeting together every night over zoom in preparation for Pentecost. Would you join with us in prayer that God would continue to pour out His Spirit on our church to reach Japan?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joseph Timothy (J.T.) Perdan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you so much for praying for us over the last year as we prepared to meet our baby boy. After nearly 48 hours of labor, we welcomed little J.T. into the world on February 11 at 12:34pm. The last few months with our little one have grown and stretched us in ways we never expected, and we have loved this new life as a family of three! J.T. has settled into his PK\/MK role flawlessly (napping during church, \u201chelping\u201d dad with sermon prep, and smiling at every person he meets). Please continue to pray for us as we raise J.T. in Japan and learn how to do ministry as new parents.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
