Hello, Family in Christ,

As the warm season unfolds here in the US, I am reminded of our incredible journey together to fulfill God's plans. While we have achieved significant milestones with the work of the Holy Spirit, there is still much more to accomplish in spreading God's love to communities in need worldwide. He didn't need us but welcomed us to partner with Him in His amazing work! All glory goes to Him!

Let’s clear the air about missionary affiliation. I want to address some misconceptions regarding my association with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Some of you may still believe I am affiliated with YWAM, but I want to clarify that I no longer work with them. Recently, I have described myself as an "independent missionary," but I find this term uncomfortable as it might imply a lack of partnership, which is far from the truth. Instead, I prefer to identify as a "collaborative missionary," actively partnering with organizations and ministries such as CMA, Converge, Global Partnership, IMB, YWAM, and others. This collaborative approach unites us in our goal of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and working harmoniously in God's kingdom.

Additionally, I am applying for a mission organization that better aligns with my calling. This organization offers an umbrella of a support system, providing resources, guidance, and a network that enhances and amplifies my role as a collaborative missionary. Their support will further empower my vision to pioneer a ministry and serve communities effectively. I look forward to maintaining my collaborative partnerships with other organizations even after joining this new mission organization.

In this newsletter, titled "Spreading God’s Light Reaches West Africa," you will read about my journey to share the light of God's love and compassion in West Africa. Just as John 1:5 reminds us, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it," our mission is to bring hope and illumination to the Deaf communities.

Throughout the newsletter, you'll find details of upcoming plans, including returning to The Gambia and other West African nations: Togo, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. Join us in spreading God's light to West Africa, knowing that no darkness can overcome the brilliance of His love and grace.

Note: I chose to focus on my upcoming plans because they are quite lengthy. There wasn’t enough space to include testimonies, but I'll make sure to share them in future newsletters.

Prayer Requests:
  Pray for safe travels to West African nations.
  Pray for the protection of my teams and me by God’s hand throughout the journey.
  Pray that we are guided with wisdom and strength by the Holy Spirit.
  Pray for financial provision to meet all the expenses for The Gambia and Togo.
  Pray for the hearts of Deaf Africans to be open to receiving the good news.
