[DBASN] You’re Invited to Join the Commission at the Capitol to Celebrate 40 Years

Dear all, this is the Commission’s Anne. Please join us on March 5, 2025 at the Minnesota State Capitol. We will have a rally to celebrate 40 decades of history and advocacy because the Commission becomes 40 years old this year! Please email Jessalyn to reserve your interpreters by February 2th. More details are below (from the Commission’s newsletter).

 

Together, Minnesota's deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing community will kick off a celebration of 40 years of advocacy at the Capitol and making a difference in our lives. 

Key remarks will be provided by Curt Micka, Mike Cashman, Mary Hartnett, and Darlene Zangara. Representatives from the Governor's Office and the Capitol will be participating in the celebration. 

Please come and recognize some of Minnesota's legislators and community advocates who have made history over the last 40 years.
