Hello my friends! I hope you are doing well!
I am really excited to share with you for this season and the testimony from the Outreach in Gambia. I asked chatGPT to sum up my newsletter, it does a pretty good job. I dropped the link to my canva. There are plenty of photos there for our pleasure and to give God the glory.

Staying Dry in Jamaica
Caleb shares greetings from a rainy Jamaica, grateful to send this newsletter on time and excited to update friends and supporters on recent ministry highlights and prayer needs.
Testimony from Gambia
During a DTS outreach in Gambia, Obrian, one of the students, met a deaf man named Selluba who struggled with isolation and disappointment in his deafness. Through the Holy Spirit, Obrian connected deeply with him—sharing the Gospel in a way he could understand.
Selluba, who comes from a Muslim family, began to hunger for God’s Word and experienced belonging within the team. His boldness and joy in Christ deeply inspired everyone.
Update from Jamaica
The Jamaica team welcomed three new deaf staff members—two Jamaicans and one American—all graduates of past DTS and DBS schools and passionate about serving the deaf community.
The team is currently focusing on bonding and unity in preparation for the upcoming God’s Story DTS (GSDTS) starting in December.
God’s Story DTS (GSDTS)
This new DTS format, approved by the University of the Nations, uses oral and storytelling methods—perfect for cultures and communities with limited access to written language.
Caleb’s team has seen amazing fruit using storytelling in ASL during past schools and now hopes to pioneer GSDTS for the Deaf in Jamaica, with the dream of expanding it globally.
Prayer Requests
- Team Unity – Pray for joy, grace, and deeper unity as the staff prepares for the GSDTS launch in December.
2. Translation Project – Caleb’s team is translating GSDTS materials into ASL (currently 44% complete). Pray for wisdom, energy, and timely completion.
Final Note
Caleb closes with faith and gratitude, trusting God as the ultimate “Way-Maker” who always provides and leads His people forward.
