Hello my friends! I hope you are doing well.
I am grateful for some of you who responded to my newsletter, it is indeed encouraging to know that. I pray that you continue to be inspired by God’s Word and walk boldly out there!
I asked chatGPT to summarize my newsletter for me. The technology always amazes me. Here it is. I also dropped the link to my newsletter in Cavna. There are plenty of pictures there too!
Newsletter Summary – October 2025
Hello from Jamaica! It’s been a full and beautiful week here as our last guests depart after the GSDTS staff training (Oct 6–10). Five hearing guests joined us, including our LTS leader from South Korea, to experience our Deaf community and culture — what a blessing!
Testimony from Mexico Outreach:
Marysabel, one of our DTS students, shared an amazing story. During her outreach, she met a Deaf man in Mexico who had no language and struggled deeply with depression. That night, God moved powerfully — through prayer and the Holy Spirit, he understood the message “You are free” and signed back, “I am free!” His whole face changed with joy and freedom.
God’s Story Translation Project:
Our translation team of five (four Deaf, one hearing) continues to make great progress. We’ve completed 23 of 32 stories in draft form (about 46% done!) and produced seven official videos so far. The recent visit from the GSDTS developer brought great encouragement — he said our work exceeded expectations! We aim to complete much more before December.
Prayer Requests:
- Strength and focus for the translation team
- Preparation for GSDTS launch in December
- Financial provision for Caleb to attend LTS in Summer 2026
- God’s direction for the next GSDTS outreach location
Thank you for your prayers and support! Another newsletter is coming next week.
